Daniel Fast 2018

ENDURANCE young adults is extending the invitation  for all of Calvary Assembly of God and friends to join us for a beginning of the year Daniel Fast!  We will be starting Monday, Jan. 8th (which is also the beginning of the Week of Prayer) and concluding Sunday, Jan. 28th.

The Daniel Fast is a partial fast loosely inspired by the the prophet Daniel who refused to eat the King of Babylon’s delicacies.  fasting is more than just a refusal to eat food, it’s a choice to hunger after God more than food, trusting that He is going to move in a profound way in your life.  Below you will find a food list for the fast, there is no precise model for this laid out in the Bible so it can be tailored to what is possible for the individual, but remember, CONSISTENCY IS KEY.

There will also be two additional prayer meetings while the fast is going on, Jan. 15th and 22nd 7:00 – 8:30 pm.
